Re: Info-Business
Worshop
Dear Friend,
Let me explain
to you the information business. It can open up an
entirely new world for you and provide the kind of
livelihood and freedom you have been looking for.
Imagine what it would be
like...
...to finally get
paid what you are worth by getting top dollar for what you know,
but doing so by working for yourself as your own boss. That's
what the information business offers!
By providing
information that others want, you can turn your knowledge into a
24x7 cash register that generates an income for you everyday,
even while you go on vacation!
Once you learn how
to turn what you know into a significant income that you can
live on, you then have true income security.
However,
there's something to be very careful
about when selling your expertise...
Warning:
If you are not careful, building a new business or additional
revenue stream around your knowledge and expertise can easily
lock you into the bondage of trading hours-for-dollars. It's a
tough business trap to be in where your income is totally
dependent on you putting in the work hours in person...or you
don't get paid. That's called low leverage income. Over time it
can burn you out.
Although you may be
able to make good money trading-hours-for-dollars from offering
your expertise to others just like lawyers, financial advisors,
engineering/management consultants, and other professionals do
---it's not the most efficient way to create wealth.
Far from it! More
efficient ways exist to generate a high income that allow you
ample time to enjoy your life and get off the work treadmill.
To the extent that
you limit your earning activities by trading-hours-for-dollars,
you also limit your total earning potential.
Why
limit your wealth-creating opportunities?
Why not work smart!
I have observed that
most people who start out in their own business offering
their special knowledge or expertise, whether to a consumer or
business market, do so in the only business model they know...
the consulting business model. This business model has many
drawbacks.
These entrepreneur
wanna-be's often leave their corporate job to try out consulting
only to continue to trade hours-for-dollars in their own
business just like in their old job. I think that's a shame when
additional business models can be added to their consulting to
give them more freedom while increasing their business revenues.
In fact, I have
observed that most entrepreneurs in any type of startup
business, whether it be those who:
1) open a bricks-and-mortar business,
2) buy an existing business,
3) buy a franchise, or
4) go into consulting
...each of these
types of business owners usually end up being a slave to their
businesses trading hours-for-dollars just like they used to be
in their former jobs. That's a trap you can avoid!
I know, because I've
been there, done that!

Hello, my name is
Frank Holleman. |
 |
I'm
known as the "Infopreneur ProfessorTM"
because I teach people how to make money as information
entrepreneurs -- or simply infopreneurs. However, I didn't start
out as the "Infopreneur Professor".
It
all started...
...
Five years ago, I followed a heartfelt dream and quit my
high-paying technology research job with a large Fortune 100
corporation to start my own technical consulting company.
I
had the entrepreneurial bug real bad, and just had to
start my own business to try something on my own.
I had a
strong belief that I could build a business around
"what I know" helping the telecom industry with
solving a specific set of technical process problems
with which the entire industry was grappling at that time.
As it turned
out, my solution to this industry need was very much
sought after, and serving this niche market kept me quite
busy. In fact too busy! The money was good but the
time I wished I had available to enjoy it all was
constantly tied up with serving clients.
Over time, I
got to researching and thinking long and hard about how
there might be a better way to structure one's business to
maximize both money and time. Well, the
truth is... there is a better way. I've found it and now
teach it!
I've
Found That Most Small Businesses are Inefficient at
Generating Income...
Your
own business doesn't have to be!
Here's what I
came to discover... I realized that consultants are really
in the information business. So I thought... why not
run the consulting business using the most profitable info
business models available.
In fact, just
about any other type of business, if you really stop to
think about it, is also in the information business to
some extent! It's impossible to sell your products
or services, no matter what they are, without somewhere
along the way educating your target consumer or business
market about what your products and services do and what
your business does.
Regardless
of what your business is, why not get paid for educating your target
market while at the same time you are spreading your marketing message
about your core business...
...Or
why not use the special expertise locked up inside your business to
create new revenues from entirely new markets that can benefit from your
expertise.
You may find
that by following this strategy, that you may want to
eventually rely more and more on the information business
revenue component of your business than the other revenue
parts of your business. This may very well happen to you
because the information revenue component to your business
is typically the higher leverage component that offers you
the most profit for the amount of time you work.
Let me
summarize this point for you very succinctly. I said it
earlier in this letter and it bears repeating...
You
can make more & easier money in your own
business
from selling
information About what you do
than
Doing what you do!
Selling
information is a high leverage business, where your financial return for
your efforts can be absolutely tremendous! An information business if it
is built properly
can create a large income for you with relatively small numbers of
customers.
Many information
entrepreneurs enjoy significant incomes from a
customer list no larger than a few thousand customers total! ...That's
only a microscopic size slice of just about any target market and yet it
can translate into an excellent income!
They are not
earning that kind of income by accident. They are
utilizing proven info business models that are essential
to obtain that kind of income leverage.
Do
you know how to capitalize on the knowledge
you already possess so that it becomes a
high leverage source of income for you?
If
you want to explore the info business and see if it is right you
at this time in your life, please attend this informative
workshop titled: "Be an Entrepreneur in Your Own
Information-Based Business". I call it the Info Biz
Workshop for short.
